An overview of country life ca. 1550-1650 in two villages Siston, Gloucestershire and Brislington, Somerset. A project presented as part of my BA degree disseration at Bristol Polytechnic (now the University of the West of England) in 1991-2.
I filched the title from Gray’s ‘Elegy in a Country Churchyard’.
