Brislington Bulletins 1066-1600 began as “something mediaeval” an idea for my BA dissertation, but when the project became top-heavy, sparse for the early period, and too much at the end, it was unworkable. So what to do with the jumble of notes I had accrued? “I know”, I thought, I’ll do something similar to the Annals of Kingswood, my other collection from a few years before…. “Brislington” was not intended to be an ongoing project, but you know how it is!
In the end it turned into seven volumes and a supplement covering the years 1066-1840!
- BRISLINGTON BULLETINS NO 1: LA WARRE TO LACY. 1066 – 1600
- BRISLINGTON BULLETINS NO 2: LACY TO LANGTON, 1601 -1699
- BRISLINGTON BULLETINS NO 3: 1700 – 1749
- BRISLINGTON BULLETINS NO 4: 1750 – 1774
- BRISLINGTON BULLETINS: A SUPPLEMENT TO NOS 1 – 4
- BRISLINGTON BULLETINS NO 5: 1775 – 1799
- BRISLINGTON BULLETINS NO 6: 1800 – 1824
- BRISLINGTON BULLETINS NO 7: 1825 – 1840
